This was a fun, fast paced read. I enjoyed the characters and watching their relationship develop from a relationship just based on sex, to a relationship based on love. There is not alot of emotional angst and conflict in this book, but it did have a nice love story and great characters so that was enough for me. There are also MANY sex scenes in this book, so turn off the heat, get a cold drink and enjoy!Scott is a very successful photographer. He enjoys his job because it takes him new places [...]

I love Sean Michael books. The characters bring out traits and answer needs within one another that once attained they have no idea how they lived without. They are hot and explicit and are guaranteed to make you sweat or breath hard at some point, at least a little, even if you are 180. In this book, like many of S. Michael books, the focus is balanced more heavily on the sex and not so much on the getting to know each other. The imbalance outweighs the interpersonal connection I crave to under [...]

I like a lot the last pair by Sean Michael. Scott and Josh reminds me a lot the couple of Secrets, Skin and Leather, even if in Love in an Elevator the love game between Scott and Josh is more romantic and less public. Scott is a freelance photograph who happens to work for Josh's firm. Josh is a successfull businessman who knows what he wants, and now he has decided he wants Scott. Fortunately Scott is not against the idea to be Josh's baby. Josh gets off with the idea of the light dominition/s [...]

eh this was pretty much just one sex scene after another. they were pretty repetitive and the dialogue was dreadful. The words "baby" and "mine" were annoyingly overused and there was no character development or plot. they meet, fuck a whole book, the end. That said the guys were somehow still likeable and no matter how cheesy or annoying they were i still liked them. It was sickening sweet but i still couldn't stop reading it. Readers that love lots of sex in their books would probably like thi [...]

I've read quite a few Sean Michael books so I know to expect a lot of sex in them, I started reading this book because I was in the mood for some smut, but this was just ridiculous. This wasn't a book with a lot of sex; it was a book with nothing but sex. It wasn't say, a 14 page novella either, it was 154 pages! I kept getting my hopes up when Josh and Scott went out to dinner, but they'd be at the restaurant and even before they sat down they were leaving to go and have sex. Did I get to see e [...]

What a piece of smut! And i do not mean that as a compliment! To say i was disappointed is a huge understatement. This is literally one sex scene after another after another after another's a smut-athon! If you like that kind of stuff then please go right ahead! For me - i feel like i was cheated out of what seemed like a good story from reading the blurb! But this book had no story or character development everything seemed to happen in the background of sex. You get a break of like one paragra [...]

Sometimes Sean Michael can get that perfect ratio of story to sex.Usually though, it's great sexbut it's an over abundance in comparison to the story ratio. When he gets the ratio right, it is amazing. This onery nice sex scenest a lot of story. If you pull out all the non sex scenes, you would have a few paragraphs, maybe less. In a shorter story, it would be fine, but 137 pages needs more story, to keep the sex fresh.Don't get me wronge sex was hot. And what little story there is, was nice. The [...]

I like a book with a lot of sex, really, I do. This one, however, gives us more info in the book blurb than we get in the book itself. After the short initial meeting of these characters, we're never given more than one or two sentences that doesn't involve them having sex. I really would have appreciated a couple of paragraphs of story every now and then O_o

Need to purchase to read for BINGO Challenge. :-)NOTE: Review cobbled together from posts made on a thread while reading.1: Y'all, I'm still working on this book. You can't believe the things I've done to avoid reading this book all week. My previous BINGO book was over 200 pages and I may take longer to finish this 92 page book. Guh!I don't know how much more sex, sex, sex I can take with minimal plot, plot, plot. Someone mentioned in a review that the author uses "just" a lot. I got the same f [...]

There is a lot of sex in this book. Way too much for the lack of plot development.Don't get me wrong, there was a little bit of a plot, but you had to dig through way too much sex to try and get to it. And for the work to find the plot, there wasn't enough of it. The sex scenes were great and amazingly sexy, but after reading through so many pages of just pure sex it started to get a little muddled and I was honestly doubting if I truly wanted to finish the book to see if it got any better. The l [...]

I want to begin this review by saying that I have enjoyed many of the novels in Sean Michael's "Hammer" series. They are often great stories with fully fleshed out characters who draw you in and leave you wanting more. Unfortunately Love in a Elevator is not a Hammer story. In fact, it is hard to call this novelette a story at all. Rather I would have to honestly say that it is a series of sex scenes tied oh so very loosely together with the beginnings of a love storya weak love story. The two M [...]

3 stars because there was hardly any story. Not stop sexfest. Which I have no problem with but usually we get a lttle more story from the author. Basically it was spend the weekend together sexing it up. Get separated for the week. Get worked into a frenzy and must see each other. Ring the doorbell Friday night and bam, LOL. It left you with a happily ever after feel but also set up for another book if they feel the need to tell more of their story. I did enjoy the characters.

This is sex on a stick. Not much plot to it at all but it's a great read if you're looking for something after a heavy, angst book.

    • Miriki says:

What to say, PWP. It got boring real fast.

    • Amy Johnson says:

Not bad, but not Rock, Rig, and Dick either

When opposites attract, meet and blend. Nice novella.

    • Abby says:

Well, you want a book with hot kinky sex? Then this one is for you! And believe me when I say hot I mean HOT. Just don't go looking for any kind of story or character depth - at all.

    • Tina says:

This book starts out hot and never lets up.
