      I love Josh Lanyon's mysteries. This one is really good. The fact that the main character is a little dense on things reminds me of all of us when we are in denial.

He can't remember if he did - or didn't. LAPD DI Mark Griffin seems very sure Peter is guilty, though. Isn't it weird that Griffin seems to take Peter's lack of remebrance so personal? When he first sees (view spoiler)[Detective Griffin after waking up in the hospital, he doesn't like him. Given that they'd been lovers and that Michael broke it off, I'd imagine Peter's feelings would be more sorrow than dislike. So I'm a little confused when he tells Michael, "I don't like you."
