I have to guiltily admit I was LOST at the beginning Who the hell is Rick and which one is Jordan? Yes for real! Rick of course not too concerned about seeing as fairly new addition. However, Jordan huge DUH moment. I'm not 100% good on the fact that this previous (from book one) sadistic type of asshole has cleaned up and gets a mate I guess I just didn't feel (up until Jordan actually meets his mate) that he had ANY qualms over his past actions, unlike Aiden who redeemed himself to me. But hav [...]

      Pretty short, but still enjoyable.

One of my favorite sequel, however I'm still not 100% sure where this series is going.

**GRammar**We saw Rick for the first time in the 3rd book,he is Cody's son and Jordan's mate. In that book the young man had helped his father take off from the internet a video using his informatic skills, something that in the end back-fired to him, since he now needs to be under protection. Rick doesnt even know that Jordan and Cali are watching and protecting him, till one day Adrian Alateeka knocks on his door. Rick finds himself face to face with the same wolf that had protected him years [...]

The story felt somewhat flimsy, but there are at least two things I appreciated.First, I really love the way Noah runs his pack. I love the hugging thing. It’s appealing and sweet and makes sense at the same time. And then, considering what we’ve seen of Jordan since the beginning of the series, I was glad that the author did not attempt to trivialize what he’d done or really make excuses for him. I sort of thought it was heading that way but in the end people did not brush the facts under [...]

Don't recommend. This story deviated away from the pack and made the series lose momentum. The story was sketchy and there were lots of holes. Rick spent a good portion of the book working for the Alateeka Protection Service, a paranormal security company. There were no details given about the characters or the background of the company. There are several hints but not full disclosure. Even Rick wasn't curious enough to ask. Four years of back and forth relationship dynamics, with intermittent d [...]

Enjoyed this one, was a little lost at the start, but was able to pick up on things easily.
