Okay, I knew it was a trilogy, but what a teaser is this book.It is actually more an introduction to the main characters and not a bdsm book at all. She has to go to a bdsm school from her fiance, but the books stops after she arrives there and after some doubts decided to stay.No bdsm happening in the book. I guess you have to read the next book for that.Except that the title doesn't stand for what is in the book, I had a nice read.I liked the writing style.

    • Rachel Miller says:

Didn't care forTo my knowledge, this book was not very realistic. There are no schools to teach you the art of BDSM. This is a lifestyle that you learn as you go and you must be willing to LIVE the lifestyle.

    • Sarah Marie says:

This is about a girl named Melita who leaves her not bae that she never consummated her feelings for because she was already betrothed to a Christian Grey-esque billionaire. Jack seems pretty great until he says, "I have needs and don't know if you can fulfill them." She then drops the big news she's a virgin. Which isn't something BDSM guys are into and he basically says, "I signed you up for a BDSM school and you are going whether you want to or not because if you don't our marriage is doomed. [...]

Okay, its a 50 Shades of Gray prodigy. I seriously don't agree in arranged marrages. Let alone being forced into something I don't want to do. Like being automatically signed up for BDSM classes without having any say in the matter.

Nice startI expected more in this book. A virgin's mental struggle that's all is here!! I wish author brings more of main course rather than soups and snacks plot was, writing style was good. Just it lacked what it said *BDSM in this*

    • Karen Hudson says:

this is the first book I have read from Sky Corgan and I really liked it

    • Karen says:

Liked This little short story by the end I was needing to read more more more. Keep my day HOT and steamy

    • Amanda says:

This was ALOT like Fifty Shades of Grey with the exception of a few different paths. I overall liked it but felt like the second book is the one that holds all the main events

    • Loretta says:

a tease and holds much promise.

    • Belinda says:

The 'power play' was evident from the first paragraph.

    • Kymm says:

      Short, uncompleted story.

    • Shannon Pickett says:

This was a good book but left me wanting more. It was like a giant tease! Good book!

    • Katie Clifford says:

Interested enough to read the second one but not sure if the interest will last past that.

    • Vzolin says:

Although it rips of Fifty Shades of Grey title it's a very different book. It's badly written. The characters are flat and the plot underdeveloped. The school plot cycle could been expanded better. Also missing are spanking scenes, the main character receives a grand total of 3 swats across the whole book. And in a final rip-off of EL James book it establishes the ideas that BDSM is a perversion, something unhealthy, to be ashamed of. The male lead is a Dom simply because a past girlfriend said he [...]

This was an extremely annoying short read. For the life of me I will never understand why most people believe that in order to write a BDsm the female has to be a virgin ( who has never even explored her body)and the male has to be rich and well versed in the ways of sex. There are lots of people who have limited funds that live the BDsm lifestyle.I guess I should have known what to expect with a title like "Fifty Shades of BDSM". The main character is cold as a fish, her mind is as closed as a [...]

Fifty Shades? Not quite sure what to think just yet. Similar to Fifty Shades of Grey in that Melita is completely innocent about Adam lifestyle. But so far she wants no part of it but is only learning to because her fiance (of her arranged) marriage is pretty much making her. When she's told, do this & we can happy, or don't & we definitely won't be, then she has to try since she much rather have some happiness if she must marry him. I have to give Jack credit because so far he's been ver [...]

This one is seriously just a teaser. It seems to be only part of one chapter. I liked the story line and the plot but there are no "good parts" to this sample. The author is somewhat pretentious in that she places a bold statement "review after you finish reading this book". Well I wouldn't call it a book and I am surprised that they wasted the cover art on it. Since this teaser is so short I am leery of purchasing the remaining parts of the story as I feel that I would end up paying a large amo [...]

This was so bad I don't even know where to begin.- Very poorly written- The characters are flat, boring and there is no story behind them, so there is absolutely no understanding why they act in this way- There is no real stoy; nothing truly happens- If this was supposed to make me curious for the rest of the series it failed. At the end I could only ask myself "what the hell was that?"

    • Nathan Schumer says:

Interesting premise. The story follows a girl from Texas called Melita Nguyen, a rich girl who goes to New York to enter an arranged marriage to Jack Kemble. She has a secret she left in Texas, he has a secret he invites her to explore. I will read the other 2 books in the trilogy however I can only rate this 3 stars at the moment. My favorite quote from this book: "It amazed me how innocent things could look on the outside, while harbouring such dark secrets within."

    • Booklovinglady says:

I don't really like cliffhangers, not even as a freebee, as they leave you guessing what comes next (and I simply refuse to buy the other books just to find out). This book is a bit of a bore, to be honest, but alright as far as freebees go.By the way, anyone know why they picked this particular picture for a cover? Because to me, in my humble opinion, the needles on the photo are clearly acupuncture needles used in TCM, which has absolutely nothing to do with BDSM

    • Lori says:

WowThis story was not what I expected. An arranged marriage to a billionaire. I did not see that coming. However, I really enjoyed part one. Now I need to know more about the relationship between Melita and Liam to know which man to cheer for. The billionaire or the best friend, they both sound interesting.

    • Becky Hedge says:

Fifty Shades of BDSMVery good book. I would recommend this book. Excellent story line kept your interest and attention making it hard to put down. Left you wanting, ready for the next book in the series.

    • Cheryl Graham Petit says:

Fifty Shades of BDSM??? Did I miss something? Are there still arranged marriages? Female main character needed to stand up for herself and stop letting everyone walk all over her. Her whining about everything was annoying as hell.

    • Debbie Chittenden says:

Very short, and unique start to BDSM introduction for a virgin about to be married to a Dom in an arranged marriage. Training is forced on her, which she doesn't want, but after a short video she's going to stay. Intriguing, to say the least.

    • Angel **Book Junkie** says:

This was good and seemed liked it started off well the problem is it was quickly over after it started. Not much of a read and I probably won't waste my money to buy the rest of the trilogy. It was lacking in a lot of departments although it was the start of a decent story.

    • Regina says:

wish I had check price of the other one before I read. story was getting interesting but the price for the length is too high.

    • Omnipotent Dystopian Now says:

Um, where is the ending? This doesn't work as a cliffhanger because nothing actually HAPPENS. Fail.
