I finished this book in a few hours, another easy read. The ending was unpredictable because I know there are 2 or 3 more books in the series. I wonder if the author had originally intended for this to be the last book in the series. *ponder*

For being a Juvenile book, I am stunned!! Without question one of the spookiest group of books I have read in a long time!! It is the monster-under-the-bed, dark-foggy-tunnel, neck-hair-raising type of SPOOKY. Normally, after having read adult fiction, the younger categories are usually not detailed enough for me. I am always left feeling the tale was not complete. Not the case with the Vampire Plagues! I absolutely recommend if you want a good old school thrill that gets your heart pumping and [...]

I really enjoyed this series!! Very suspenseful books. These were written for younger people, the main characters are 12 and 13, but I liked them.

I actually finished at this book as I kinda felt like this was the ending to the series and hence didn't have anymore books in the series which I discovered there are 3 more today but I have decided I just want to leave my series at this book.Just due to I feel this was a great way to end the story of Emily, Jack and Ben in there fight against camatoz. So this is where my review for this series ends but what a great series and so enjoyed the story lines

I absolutely love the way Rook incorporates all kinds of vampiric lore into these books. He can really tie the loose ends all together at the end as well. I really enjoyed reading these stories, though now I would think that they'd be almost too easy for me to re-read. Almost.

    • Christina says:

Great series, if you love to read about vampiresI think that boys would love this series since there is a lot of exploring involvedwhere the Twilight Series geared toward girls because it involves dating and love

    • Christie says:

I really enjoyed the third part of the trilogy. There was plenty of action and a few surprises. The story had me on the edge of my seat a few times which was very refreshing for a juvenile read. I recommend this trilogy to anyone who is looking for a great read about vampires.

A decently engaging book, definitely for the younger crowd, but ultimately fluffy and definitely lacking in vampires.
